The Ashley Wood Festival was a multi-arts festival that took place at Ashley Wood Farm near Tisbury, Wilts, for three years from 2011-2013. Inspired by the Catweazle Club and Kuiperfest, it presented folk and classical music, theatre, and poetry completely unplugged (with very few exceptions - you know who you are). I was the artistic director of the festival and one of the organisers, although I had invaluable help from others, especially Kat and Janet Boxall. Ralph Fiennes was our patron for 2012 and 2013 and kindly donated a substantial sum of money to the festival for both of those years.
